FAQ - LASH LIFT

What is a Lash Lift?

A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment performed on your natural lashes to enhance length and curl.

Is there any maintenance?

No! Thats the best part of a lash lift.

How long does it last?

A lash lift lasts 6-8 weeks depending on your lash cycle.

Am I a good candidate for a lash lift?

A lash lift is for clients that have medium - long and very healthy lashes. Its best suited for clients who are pleased with the length of their natural lashes, but want them curled and given an enhanced look while wearing mascara or no makeup at all . Note: It is not recommended for chemotherapy clients.

How long does the service take?

The procedure takes approximately 45-60 minutes.

Will it damage my natural lashes?

No. Being a certified Elleebana Lash Lift specialist, Ally has been trained to perform the procedure with proper care and technique.

What should I avoid after my lash lift?

Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours. Avoid steam rooms and saunas; overall, refrain from all heat. After 24 hours, you may go about with your daily routine.

Can mascara be applied after the lash lift?

Allow 24 hours before applying any type of product to your lashes. After 24 hours, you may apply mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, or any type of makeup products you desire; it will not affect the lashes.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

If possible, please come with clean lashes. Also, be sure to remove your contact lenses.

What is the lash lift process like?

The process is very similar to eyelash extensions. Your bottom lashes and top eyelids are covered with a gel pad. Your eyes are to remain closed during the entire process. Depending on the length of your natural lashes, a silicone rod (comes in 3 sizes - small, medium, and large) is placed on top of the eyelids to determine which size silicone rod best suits your lashes to achieve the best lift. Once the size is determined; the rod is placed onto the gel pad of the eyelids and a water -soluble lash glue is used to push the natural lashes back onto the rod - a lash setting solution is applied for 5-7 minutes on both sides. The setting solution then gets removed with a micro swab and the lash neutralizer solution is applied on both sides for 5 minutes.
