FAQ - TRAINING

Why take YOUR BROW GIRL's training?

Ally has taken 6 permanent makeup courses to learn and gather the best techniques that she incorporates into her trainings. She believes in being honest and transparent while teaching you all her tips/tricks to give you the best knowledge to get started in this industry. Every topic taught is covered in depth so that students obtain a very clear understanding.

Are there any requirements before taking the course?

For the beginners course there are no prior requirements necessary. Each states has different regulations that need to be met to legally preform permanent makeup. There is also a blood borne pathogens test online that you can take (CA does require this), but it is highly suggested due to the educational benefits & the low cost. Microblading & Powder Brows is in "the body art" category so please check your state laws to see what is required of you to become licensed in the area you plan on working in.

Do you need prior training?

For the beginners course, no prior training is needed. Advanced courses require you to have a certificate from another course & be licensed in your county/ state as a body art - permanent makeup artist.

How do I register for the training?

A non refundable deposit of $500 is required to hold your spot. The deposit will be deducted from the total price of the course when paid in full.

Whats included with the training?

A printed manual and kit that will supply you with the necessary tools to perform the service. Ally will supply a list of where to purchase other supplies such as table, work tray, disposable products for setup, etc.

Will I work on a model?

Yes! Each student must provide a model on the last day of the course. Ally recommends providing your own model so you can follow up with the touch up & see your healed work. If you are unable to provide a model please let her know and she will do her best to find a model for you.

Will I be certified?

Once you have finished the course and have worked on a live model with the supervision of YOUR BROW GIRL you will be given a certificate. To be completely certified as a permanent makeup artist, you will need to register with the county.
